TISDALE — The Tisdale RCMP is asking for assistance to find an individual connected to a break and enter at the Shell Gas Station in town where liquor was stolen. The incident is believed to have occurred between May 1 at 11:30 p.m.

PORCUPINE PLAIN — A rural resident living near Porcupine Plain had left some posts piled on a property they planned on fencing, only to find they’d gone missing. They called the Porcupine Plain RCMP May 7 about the theft.

NIPAWIN — A rainbow sidewalk will soon be in front of L.P. Miller, after Nipawin council passed a modified proposal by the school’s Gay-Straight Alliance to temporarily paint the surface.

NIPAWIN — Nipawin’s Jubilee Arena is receiving about $1.2 million in federal and provincial funding to add four permanent dressing rooms with washrooms and showers.

ENGLEFELD — Currently being used as a space for the Englefeld Preschool, the Englefeld Arena’s social room is receiving a completely new redesign using funds from the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program.

WATSON — Roof repairs, washroom renovations and emergency exit doors replacements are a few renovations happening at the Watson Arena, which received funding from the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program.
