WATSON — The provincial government allotted funding through the 2021-22 budget for planning on the new wing at the Quill Plains Centennial Lodge and renovation of the east wing.

MELFORT — The City of Melfort has passed their budget with a mill rate increase of .18 to 10.30 and an average property tax increase of 1.8 per cent. Residential property owners with a taxable assessment of 200,000 will have an increase of $44.

HUMBOLDT — There will be a 1.5-hour drive thru clinic in Humboldt for those 55 and older tomorrow. The clinic will be at the Uniplex’s Jubilee Hall April 13 from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.

HUMBOLDT— A total of $430,000 will be going to the startup of Early Years Family Resource Centres in Humboldt and Estevan.

MELFORT — Melfort RCMP are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect in connection to theft at a business. On April 2 at 4:20 p.m., a woman entered a business in the 1000 block of Main Street in Melfort.

HUMBOLDT — When the phone rang, Lois Wilson thought she would be getting the results of her COVID-19 test. Instead, she found out she won $100,000 from the Humboldt Broncos Lottery of Cash.

Update April 12, 10:24 p.m.: Judith Saelhof has been found safe and sound. TISDALE — A 73-year-old Tisdale woman has gone missing. Judith Saelhof was last seen getting gas at the Tisdale Shell Station on 93rd Avenue on April 11 at 5 p.m.
