TISDALE — Tisdale Town Council met for their first meeting of 2021 with a few items to approve for the beginning of the year. With there were no changes to the motion, all tax incentives for the town have been approved for 2021.

NIPAWIN — Dave Balding, Nipawin’s fire chief, said he would like to encourage the community to contact the fire department proactively, before a situation grows larger and uncontrollable.

ARCHERWILL — A plane crashed northwest of Archerwill. The two men inside the plane, ages 58 and 52, were safely extracted and were taken to hospital for what police described as serious injuries.

TISDALE — A Tisdale man was issued a fine by the RCMP after not quarantining when required. Effective Dec. 17, Saskatchewan residents who receive a positive COVID-19 test must self-isolate for 10 days from their first symptoms.

LEROY, LANIGAN — Humboldt-Lanigan RCMP are asking for help to identify people connected to two breaks and enters, one which saw a truck ram the building to gain access. On Dec. 22 at approximately 1:50 a.m., a business in LeRoy was broken into.
