NIPAWIN — A play by Doreen Bleich was shown at the Nipawin Legion to commemorate both the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War, as well as the 90th anniversary of the Nipawin Legion.

CARROT RIVER — Carrot River resident Tamyka Wiens placed first in her class at the Canadian finals for cowboy mounted shooting in Alberta. Wiens is 13, and this is her first time competing in the Canadian finals.
