It started out as something simple. Wendy Toye with the Haus of Stitches in Humboldt wanted to make quilts for the 29 people that were on the Humboldt Broncos bus on April 6.

Museum celebrates volunteers with appreciation tea

In 2017, 264 volunteers contributed 2,637 hours to the Cultural Services Department. This includes the Humboldt and District Museum and Gallery, Original Humboldt, the Humboldt Water Tower, and Humboldt Public Art.

My grandson Dexter Mcleod and I attended the service for Conner Lukan in Slave Lake. The reason we attended was to show respect for Conner and support for his family and loved ones. Such painthey must have gone through and they must be going through.
