Rebecca Cairns , the valedictorian for the class of 2017 at Porcupine Plain Comprehensive School, got stuck driving a few years ago. Her dad came and told her that she wasn’t stuck, she just couldn’t move forward.

There were tears and laughs, dances and jumps for joy as Humboldt Collegiate Institute (HCI) sent off another 94 graduates into the world during their graduation ceremony on June 29.

Happy Birthday Canada. As I’m sure every one knows over the weekend we celebrated Canada’s 150th Birthday. As a Canadian it was a proud day for me.
