KOOB: Clement Joseph March 1, 1927 – Feb 22, 2016 Clem passed away in Saskatoon at the age of 88 years.

URBAN: Mary September 19, 1921 – February 19, 2016 Mary (nee Knoke) (Olchowski) Urban of Bethany Pioneer Village, Middle Lake, SK, (and formerly of Bruno, SK), passed away at her residence on Friday, February 19, 2016. She was 94 years of age.

FORER: Richard It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Richard (Dick) Forer of Salmon Arm, British Columbia. Richard passed away suddenly in Casa Grande, Arizona.

SEIFERT: Frances Frances Seifert (Lemmerick) passed away peacefully on February 17, 2016, surrounded by family, at the age of 95 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Peter.

SAWATZKY: Dale The sudden and unexpected death of Mr. Dale Bruce Sawatzky 56 years of Humboldt occurred at Ledcor Workcamp near Wandering River, AB.

The Humboldt Broncos sent their fans home happy in their final home game this season with a 4-2 win against the Melville Millionaires.

Narrowing down Humboldt into one theme was difficult for the Humboldt Mural Committee. This was their task from the Canada 150 Mural team, says Humboldt and District Museum Director, Jennifer Hoesgen.

Karate instructor, Bryce Nagy, comes out from Saskatoon twice a week to teach karate in Humboldt. On Feb. 20, he was out to teach a different type of class; self-defense to Humboldt women.

St. Augustine Hall turned pink on Feb. 21 for the Humboldt and District Kinettes pancake breakfast. With help from the Humboldt Knights of Columbus, the Kinettes wrapped up their last fundraiser before they head to Telemiracle 40 on Mar. 5-6.

Humboldt and area children on spring break got a special visitor to the Reid-Thompson Public Library on Feb. 17.
