The Battlefords Union Hospital Foundation's Festival of Trees begins Friday, Nov. 29 and runs to Sunday, Dec.1 at the Dekker Centre for the Performing Arts.
Sunday's events will feature breakfast and pictures with Santa beginning at 9 a.m.
"Kids are going to love the waffle breakfast we have planned, available for the first 300 admissions through the door and served until noon," says Jay Crockett, who along with his wife Krista, is chairing the Sunday event.
"It will be like being in candy 'Land at the waffle bar topping station with some unique, yummy items to choose from," Crockett says.
Other attractions will be the Balloon Guy, Christmas stories read by Mrs. Claus and face painting.
Official photographer, Bannerman's Photo Studio, will offer an opportunity to have a photo taken with Santa.
During the day guests will be able to stroll through the Dekker Centre foyer to view and bid on wreaths, swags and trees.
Koreen Lawrence and Janelle Cox, decorating chairs, have some unique plans with the displays of silent auction items being vignettes, or like looking through the store glass windows at FAO Schwarz Toy Store, renowned for its Christmas displays.
Admission is $2, and there will be some child related gifts that kids can enter to win with their admission ticket.
Other festival events are: Friday - Light Up the Night, 5:30 to 9 p.m., open to everyone; Saturday - public viewing 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., open to everyone; Saturday - Evening of Gratitude, doors open 5 p.m., advance tickets required.
