The Maidstone Legion Ladies' Auxiliary No. 142 met March 1 for their monthly meeting.
Nine members braved the cold weather to attend. Plans were made to cater to the ratepayers' supper April 8.
The Feb. 26 kaiser and cribbage tournament was well attended and enjoyed. Plans were made to have another tournament Saturday, March 26 in the Legion Hall with beef on a bun being available. Keep this date in mind and we hope you'll all be there.
Plans were made for serving the lunch for the St. Patrick's Day dance March 19 in the Legion Hall. We hope you all will keep these dates in mind.
The next meeting will be April 5 at 7:30 p.m. in the Legion Hall.
Winners of the Feb. 26 card tournaments were: kaiser - Doreen and Jean, Tara and Michelle; cribbage - Jim and Rick, Neil and Susan.
