I am a professional wildlife photographer
Oct. 28, a windy, sunny afternoon), I happened to be in the right place at the right time.
While sitting in my truck watching for wildlife on the shore of Jackfish Lake, near the Meota swimming pool, I notice a stray snow goose in the water near the pond. A bald eagle flew by me and started circling around. It looked as though it was heading for the snow goose.
I jumped out of the truck with my 300-1000 mm camera and started taking pictures. The eagle swooped into the water and attacked the goose.
The eagle struggled for about a minute with the goose and finally managed to lift it slowly out of the water and took it to the shore.
During this time I managed to take about 43 pictures. These are a sample.
