Our first skiff of snow for this fall came Monday morning. The temperature was below zero so the light rain turned to snowflakes. It didn't last long and melted almost as soon as it fell. Quite a difference from last year when at this time we experienced a huge snowfall.
Thanksgiving service was held at St. Paul's, Forest Bank Oct. 20, an enjoyable time for all present.
Keith and Eileen Evans returned last week following a trip west where they visited with family. They visited Joanne and Ben Rawlinson and daughter Emma, at Kelowna, B.C. This was their first visit with their latest grandchild, Emma. At Salmon Arm, B.C. they visited Kathy and Chris Jacobs, Kaitlyn, Evan and Cole and John and Calynda Evans and son, Logan in Calgary. They reported a good trip with beautiful fall scenery.
Fall suppers are a regular Sunday occurrence at this time, being well attended. Many people look forward to the fall supper season.
