The Senior Lady Royals hosted 1A senior girls' volleyball on Nov. 5. The six teams taking part were Glaslyn, Patuanak, Goodsoil, Thunderchild, Poundmaker and Edam. Throughout the day there was round robin play that found Poundmaker defaulting due to not showing up. Glaslyn played Edam and Goodsoil took on Patuanak in the semifinals. The day ended with Edam and Goodsoil playing for the championship with Goodsoil defeating the Lady Royals. Both teams advanced to the district tournament Nov. 12 in Saskatoon.
