The 2013-2014 Battlefords Community Players season opens with a hilarious murder mystery.
This fast moving witty play by Ken Ludwig takes place in Connecticut at the Gillette Castle on Christmas Eve 1936. William Gillette, actor, director and writer invites members of the theatre company home for the holidays and as Shakespeare said, "the game's afoot."
The cast is made up of Glen Rubidge, as William Gillette; Eleanor Voegeli, as his mother Martha Gillette; couples Felix and Madge Geisel are played by Marno Auchstaetter and Kristen Forester; Aggie Wheeler and Simon Bright by Michele Taylor and Clint Barrett.
Arriving on the scene are theatre critic Daria Chase played by Tracy Knowles and last but not the least Inspector Goring from the Middlesex Police Department, played by Lynda Lyon-Walls, who calls to investigate a murder that may or may not have happened.
