Legends on stage this Saturday

Just one more kick at the cat or whatever the saying is.

Legends are playing Saturday at Maymont Memorial Hall. Tickets are still available and can be purchased at the door. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m.

There was a great turnout for the Sharon United Church fall supper. Thanks to all the volunteers and for all those attending.

A trade show is slated for Nov. 16 at Maymont Memorial Hall with 19 tables already booked.

With Halloween soon approaching here are a few safety tips to remind your children while they are out trick or treating. If possible consider heading for an indoor Halloween party and bypass any chaos or danger. Wear flame retardant costumes, make sure your Halloween costume is colourfast so the color doesn't run onto your other clothes if it rains and make sure to try on your costume before Halloween to allow time for altering if need be.

Plan your route ahead of time, trick or treat in familiar neighborhoods, carry a flashlight if possible and have a cellphone in case you run into trouble.

Make sure the small Children don't snack on hard candy until they get home.

I hope all the Children have a safe Halloween.
