The Battlefords Photo Club held a regular meeting Oct. 1 at the Allen Sapp Gallery.
The evening began with the critique of photos for the monthly photo challenge, "Autumn." Fall Colours by Anand George and Harvest Glow by Janelle Cox were chosen as the winners of the challenge.
Member Chris Reichelt of Static Memories Photography spent the rest of the evening teaching the club about portrait photography. "Portraits" will be the monthly photo challenge for December.
There will not be a challenge for the month of November as the meeting will consist of the adjudication of members photos in preparation for the clubs' fall show, a photo exhibit. The adjudicator for the evening will be Jean Dunn, a local painter and sculptor.
The fall show will be held at the Co-op Mall in North Battleford Nov. 7-9. Be sure to mark the dates on your calendar! It's a great way to see the incredible talent this club has to offer.
