Caleb Village, the newest retirement community in the city, has been open for nearly three months. We are all settling in and getting to know each other. Since we've opened we have had many talented people in to entertain us with their music, which got some of us up dancing. We truly appreciate the women and men who graciously share their talents with us.
At Caleb Village, residents are offered weekly exercise classes, weekly devotionals and hymn sings as well as movies, bingo and games. October birthdays were celebrated with cake, entertainment and dancing. The November birthday party will be held Nov. 29 at 3 p.m. and we are fortunate to have entertainment again. Anyone in the community is welcome to join our birthday party, listen to the music and have a visit .
A come and go tea will be hosted Nov. 29 from 2 to 7 p.m. The community and surrounding area are invited to come and see the facility and what it has to offer.
December activities will include cookie making, craft making, Christmas sing alongs, entertainment, Christmas movies and a craft sale Dec. 13 from 4 to 7 p.m. and Dec. 14 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Caleb Village is proud to be part of the Battlefords' growing community and we look forward to serving the seniors who have made this community what it is today.
