Nine members of the Battlefords Art Club met Tuesday at our usual space in the Don Ross Centre.
Everyone was busy at a project. One was painting a horse head, one was doing a painting of the Leipzig Serenity Retreat Centre. Another was doing an abstract. A beautiful watercolour of the habour at St. Ives, Cornwall was the subject material for one artist and a winter scene was evolving for another.
Our fabric artist was designing a pattern for a fabric tree and our portrait artist was sketching from a lovely photo of her great-grandson. Soft pink tulips were the inspiration for another person.
Our club meets every Tuesday from about 10 a.m. to 2:30 or 3 p.m. We welcome new members. It is a group where positive feedback is the norm and we all learn from one another.
