Students at Bready School started their day June 9, with a celebration of healthy lifestyle and activity.

The Bready Fun Run, where students, staff, parents, and grandparents chose to walk or run three or five kilometres, was a huge success.

The event started with kindergarten to Grade 2 students completing a spirit lap as they were cheered on by the older students.

Following that, participants completed their run to the sound of music and cheering from the crowd. The fun run was the culminating event of the year long in motion walk/run club.

Student Camrynn Simon, noted, "My class was pumped. We couldn't believe how awesome it was. We can't wait until next year."

All participants received an entry race package and a chance to win prizes. The prize assembly was met with eager anticipation as students had the chance to win a bike or a Wii. Hot dogs, watermelon, and juice were served to the entire school to finish off the fantastic morning of activity and fun.
