Topic of the week was the Sunday snowstorm. Thanks to the town council of Maidstone for the efficient way they looked after the people stranded in the storm.

Topic of the week was the Sunday snowstorm. Thanks to the town council of Maidstone for the efficient way they looked after the people stranded in the storm. Also to the people who brought supplies to the Drop In Centre where the stranded were looked after. There were people billeted out around town, too, I'm sure the stranded were grateful. Way to go everyone.

Colleen Koski and Val Morris were Saturday shoppers in Lloydminster.

Jean Stewart had Jenna of Sherwood Park, Alta. stay with her during the storm Sunday night. She left Monday afternoon when roads were passable but really not that good. She got home safely.

A number of apartment people attended the craft show Sunday. Eighty-seven brave people came out to a great display of crafts.

Tillie Linkert daughters, Shirley and Beverly, were her visitors last week.

Denise Newton was home after visiting her sisters in Sudbury, Ont. She got home in time to see the little Halloweeners.

It was such a miserable night Oct. 31 that I only had six little spooks. They are really polite cute little people.

Winter struck in all its fury. Hope it isn't a repeat of last winter, but keep you shovels handy!
