Register now for the Transmitting Light workshop to be held Saturday, March 12 from 1 to 4:30 p.m., during the Winter Retreat at the Chapel Gallery.
This workshop is for artists who want to explore the different ways they can use light in their artwork.
Artists will choose from a variety of materials to create a piece that uses the light from the windows in the Window Salon to illuminate the concepts from their imagination. This is a great opportunity for artists to discover new techniques to apply to their work.
A July, 2011 exhibition in the Window Salon will feature works that fit into the windows of the gallery. Several artists from the Creative Partnerships program will be on hand to facilitate the workshop.
The workshop has a registration fee of $30 and materials will be provided. Registration for this workshop is limited. Please contact Michael at 445-1757 to register.
