The North Battleford Western Development Museum hosting Chicago-raised Canadian Rita di Ghent Saturday for an afternoon of soulful ballads, repartee and pistol-packin' blues.

For the price of regular admission, the WDM issues an invitation to stop by to enjoy Ghent's velvety voice and her collection of heart-wrenching ballads and smooth sultry jazz. Ghent's repertoire of 1920s and 30s tunes includes hits such as I Want a Little Sugar in My Bowl, Candy Man and Don't You Feel My Leg, the first song ever to be banned by a U.S. president).

Rita has performed in venues all over the world, from South China to Paris, so stop by the Western Development Museum July 28 to watch this sizzling songstress perform.
