The Battlefords Photo Club held its monthly meeting Dec. 3. The club critiqued photos from November's challenge, portraits. The winning photo was by Barb Mitchell entitled, It's Good to be Home.
The club then learned and practiced techniques on how to capture backlit silhouettes; taught by member Chris Wolfe. December's photo challenge - Winter Backlit Silhouettes - is based on the lesson.
These photos will be critiqued at the next meeting, which will be held Tuesday, Jan. 7 at 7 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Allen Sapp Gallery (rear entrance).
