HUMBOLDT — The school community councils of St. Augustine and St. Dominic Schools are joining forces to fundraise – while having a little friendly competition.

We know things can change, however the return to games on the diamonds, our provincial cases reducing as a result of more vaccinations taking place and a new skip in everyone’s step has definitely boosted morale in the community.

MELFORT — The work of the Saskatchewan folk artist Frank Cicanksy along with his son Victor Cicanksy is on display at the Kerry Vickar Centre in Melfort for the month of June.

HUMBOLDT – Gabriel Rodriguez is not the type to answer his phone if he doesn’t know the number. Yet one day, his phone rang, saying it was from Calgary. He decided to answer.

The Borden Museum held their official opening June 5. While Bob Wardhaugh played his accordion for the singing of O Canada, Peter Thiessen raised the Canada flag to the top then lowered it to half mast.

More construction continues in Meota and Lakeview areas, and renovating continues, too. The value of all real estate has climbed and there are some “for sale” signs up again.
