HUMBOLDT — As part of a new fundraiser by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Humboldt and Area, residents can purchase raffle tickets for a chance at winning up to 200 bottles of wine.

Understanding depression is not easy, especially for the children of those suffering from it. A new book attempts to help kids understand better. Sometimes Daddy Cries is told through the eyes of a boy whose father suffers from depression.

HUMBOLDT — A opportunity to celebrate the community through sidewalk chalk art has been delayed. The Community Chalk Art Day will now be on Oct. 3 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the the Humboldt and District Museum and Gallery said.
