HUMBOLDT — Saltwater Joy, a collection of old-time Atlantic Coast music performers, will be bringing the shore to your door at the Humboldt Community Gathering Place.

MANITOU BEACH — To celebrate its centennial, the Resort Village of Manitou Beach is starting a new tradition: seeing how many people can float in Little Manitou Lake at one time.

When Rhonda and Laura Stock launched the Happy Little Hooves animal sanctuary early in 2019, they did so with the intention of giving small animals a forever home while providing care and improving health for those animals.

The eight weeks summer madness has begun. Soak it all in, literally, and check out your local communities for events and activities to take part in this summer. Or, check out all that your province has to offer for summer fun.

Meota was a-buzz this weekend with people and vehicles everywhere. There are several garage and yard sales going on as well as the church sales on Saturday that went over well. The golf course appears to be busy as the weather co-operates nicely.

HUMBOLDT — Juno award-winning Canadian folk artist Valdy will be bringing his music to the Community Gathering Place for one evening this August. Humboldt is one of three stops in Saskatchewan for the Ottawa-born talent this summer.

ENGLEFELD — This year’s Englefeld Hogfest was a success, with just over 700 people served this year, said Englefeld recreation board president Charlie Biemans.
