Ruddell held there annual wiener roast Aug. 14 and as you can see by the picture they had a great turn out. The weather was beautiful for the event. Our condolences to Vivian Seib on the loss of her husband, Dan.

The Canadian director of the Royal Academy of Dance was in North Battleford Thursday to visit The Dance Connection in what he calls "the fun part" of his job.

Maurice Campbell was born at Steuban, Wisc. on April 5, 1913. When Maurice was a young boy, his family moved to a homestead in the Cadillac area. Maurice completed Grades 1 through 8 at Prairie du Chene, Wisc.

Radisson had three beautiful days to celebrate its 100th birthday, along with the annual agricultural fair. Registration Aug.

Honeywood Heritage Nursery held its $10,000 early bird draw Aug. 10 at the Parkside Heritage Centre. Approximately 30 individuals gathered to enjoy a hamburger and witness the draw.

The annual Northwest Territorial Days Exhibition Parade wound through North Battleford Monday evening, with the theme of celebrating the city's 100th anniversary.

Although thunder could be heard rumbling Sunday afternoon, there was no rain here. Some rain would be welcome and is needed so that crops will fill.

Mid-August has residents busy with garden processing, harvest preparation or lingering in the last few weeks of summer.

Our condolences to the family of Micheal Yaceyko, to his wife Tracy (Nosek) and three young children and to other family members, on his sudden death. The funeral for Micheal was held in Waseca Hall Aug 8. Interment was in Waseca Cemetery.
