The September lineup at the Vic Juba will cover almost every genre, from comedy to country music to racy Australian men.

LLOYDMINSTER — As autumn temperatures begin to drop, the lineup at the Vic Juba Community Theatre in Lloydminster is bringing the heat.

September kicks off with Green River Revival, a CCR tribute concert, on Sept. 5. As one of the most entertaining tribute acts in Canada, concert-goers will be singing their hearts out and dancing in their seats.

On Sept. 12, Broadway star Lee Siegel, better known as Soul Man, will be joined by a stellar band, including an all-star horn section. Soul Man pays tribute to many iconic artists of the genre, such as Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Smokey Robinson and more.

If the days of disco are more your style, ABBA Revisited comes to the Vic Juba on Sept. 13. With authentic costumes, spectacular harmonies and note-perfect musicianship, ABBA Revisited recreates a show-stopping look and sound that fans around the world can’t deny.

Things get a bit racy on Sept. 19 as the Larger Than Life World Tour comes to Lloydminster, featuring Magic Men Australia and TikTok sensation Will Parfitt. With a likeness to Channing Tatum, this high-energy, jaw-dropping, pulse-racing show will bring the heat to the Border City. This show is for ages 18+.

Although it will be a hard act to follow, The Comic Strippers return to Lloydminster on Sept. 20. While there will be no extreme nudity, there will be extreme hilarity. This fictitious male stripper troupe tries to be sexy—but it just comes out funny. This show is for ages 19+.

Keeping things wild at the Vic Juba, Steve-O brings his Crash and Burn Tour on Sept. 24. The completely uncensored show will see the Jackass star presenting a new multimedia performance where you don’t just hear the ridiculous stories of his latest and most unbelievable exploits—you see them happen. This show is for ages 19+.

For country music fans, Aaron Halliday will share The Alan Jackson Experience on Sept. 25. Aptly named the “Margaritaville” tour, Halliday’s look, stage presence and sound will have concert-goers believing they are at an actual Alan Jackson concert. All ticket holders are invited to the meet-and-greet during intermission in the lobby.

To close out the month, The Life and Times of Jim Croce: A Canadian Tribute will grace the stage on Sept. 29. Croce understood the struggles of making it in the music industry, with an exploding career in the early 1970s before a fatal plane crash took his life. His sound—combining blue-collar grit with intimate love songs—stands the test of time.
