She's more than happy to be coming back to her home province. Connie Kaldor, a singer songwriter originally from Saskatchewan who now lives in Montreal, will be in the province this spring.

An acoustic concert by Codie Prevost and fellow country artist Aaron Pritchett was held on February 18 at Sutherland Theatre in Humboldt. The concert raised about $500 for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Humboldt.

Historic and current abstract art will be part of a new exhibit going up in Humboldt.

A downtown building will soon have a new purpose. The Humboldt and District Museum and Gallery (HDMG) will be taking over stewardship of the Willkommen Centre soon. The Willkommen Centre is presently being used for office space for city staff.

The fifth annual Pilger Pumpkin Festival was a smashing success. The festival, put on at the Pilger Community Hall on September 25, attracted over 400 people to the community of just 70 residents.
