HUMBOLDT — A set of pallets worth around $1,000 were stolen on the 300 block of Humboldt’s Main Street south of the tracks, between 3rd Avenue and 4th Avenue.
The theft took place in an alley between March 29 and April 1.
“Just of note, these pallets, they were good pallets,” said Cst. Geoff Applegate of the Humboldt RCMP. “Nobody would nobody would mistake them for refuse. I know sometimes people grab pallets, but these were good pallets that were to be used for a project.
Applegate said the police are investigating and are asking for anybody with information to contact the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
Activities
Between March 1 and April 4, Humboldt RCMP dealt with 181 calls in the City of Humboldt, five of which ended up being unfounded.
There were 14 Criminal Code files opened, which included one assault, one theft over $5,000, one theft of a car, one theft under $5,000, one fraud, three mischiefs and one careless use of a firearm.
There were 88 traffic offences, 20 written traffic warnings, two impaired drivers and two traffic collisions. A checkstop examined 24 vehicles.
Police responded to seven false alarms and examined two cases of suspicious people, vehicles or property.
