Work continues to progress on the 100th Street Rehabilitation Project from 14th Avenue to 20th Avenue.

Surface milling has been completed for the entire six blocks, and the road will remain rough until all of the underground work is completed and a final top lift of pavement can be done, says a notice issued by the City of North Battleford.

This coming week, underground crews will continue to work northward along the 1500 block of 100th Street replacing the water main. Businesses on this block will remain on temporary water supplies, and the street will be closed to traffic. Businesses are accessible from the back alley, or from 15th or 16th Avenues.

Work is also expected to begin on streetlights and buried cables next week. This may result in temporary lane or road closures as the work progresses.

In its release, the City of North Battleford reminds motorists to use caution when traveling through the area, and to respect the safety of workers.
