15-year-old arrested for break and enter

Battlefords RCMP were on the run between 6 a.m. Friday, March 21 and 6 a.m. Saturday, March 22 as they responded to about 75 calls for service/occurrences.

Battlefords RCMP were on the run between 6 a.m. Friday, March 21 and 6 a.m. Saturday, March 22 as they responded to about 75 calls for service/occurrences.


Among those calls were seven false/nuisance 911 calls, seven noise complaints and one false alarm.


Friday


6:18 a.m. - 22-year-old man arrested after a complaint of intoxicated person passed out in the hallway of a hotel.


9:23 a.m. - Vehicle parked on Pearson Avenue broken into overnight.


10:45 a.m. - Report of an assault in city. Suspect known to victim. Investigation still ongoing.


11:29 a.m. - Mischief to property reported. Graffiti to a building on Highway 16 East.


11:32 a.m. - 21-year-old man arrested and facing charges of assault and failing to comply with an undertaking after report of an assault at a residence on 106th Street. Victim and suspect known to each other. Man to be remanded into custody and will appear in court Monday, March 24 at 9:30 a.m.


12:09 p.m. - 21-year-old man arrested for public intoxication on 15th Avenue after report of man causing a disturbance.


12:56 p.m. - Youth apprehended on Carlton Trail facing accusation of shoplifting. Investigation ongoing.


1:23 p.m. - Report of unwanted person at a residence on 110th Street who fled from area when police called.


1:46 p.m. - Report of an assault on Railway Avenue, which was alleged to have occurred the previous day. Suspect known to victim. Investigation ongoing.


3:13 p.m. - Possible ongoing fraud reported.


3:46 p.m. - Report of an assault on 100th Street. Caller alleged he was assaulted by two younger males, but did not want to wait for or speak to police. Patrol of area for suspects was negative.


4:41 p.m. - Report of a break and enter into a motor home parked on 99th Street, possibly someone sleeping/squatting in it for a period of time.


5:05 p.m. - Report of two youth on Thompson Crescent knocking on doors and running away, subjects not located.


5:43 p.m. - Two-vehicle collision on 1800 block of 100th Street. Minor damage to both vehicles and no injuries reported.


8:05 p.m. - 61-year-old man arrested for public intoxication on 100th Street.


9:05 p.m. - Two-vehicle collision at intersection of 100th Street and Territorial Drive North. 20-year-old man driver of one of the vehicles is facing charge of driving through a red light. No injuries reported, one vehicle sustained significant damage and was towed from scene. Traffic disruptions at intersection for approximately 30 to 45 minutes.


Saturday


1:24 a.m. - Report of a possible impaired driver on 100th St. Patrols made. Suspect vehicle was not located.


1:42 a.m. - Report of a break and enter to a residence. Police arrested a 15-year-old male youth. He has been charged and released before a justice of the peace. The youth will be in court May 12th, 2014.


2:56 a.m. - 18-year-old woman arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle. Occurred on Highway 16 and Territorial Dr. She is now charged with impaired driving, refusal and mischief. Released for court April 7.


3:28 a.m. - Report of an intoxicated man passed out in the lobby of a business. 58-year-old man was arrested and lodged in cells until sober. Man has been charged for being drunk in public.
