BUFFALO RIVER DENE NATION — A 15-year-old boy has died in the rollover of an ATV.
On July 23, at approximately 1 p.m., Buffalo Narrows RCMP responded, along with local EMS, to a report of a rollover involving an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) on Highway 925, on the Buffalo River Dene Nation.
The operator of the ATV was transported to the local medical facility. He later died of his injuries. He has been identified as a 15-year-old male from the Buffalo River Dene Nation. His family has been notified.
Buffalo Narrows RCMP continue to investigate.
