The Battlefords RCMP Detachment is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a youth reported as missing by her family.

Feb.19 at approximately 4 p.m. 15-year-old Oceana Cantre was reported missing from her mother’s residence at the Moosomin First Nation. She was last seen by her mother at 3 p.m. that day and has not attended school since.  Oceana is s Metis, 5’2”, 100-110 lbs with a thin build, black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black hoody with blue writing on it, running shoes and black pants with a flower pattern on them.

Police have been attempting to locate Oceana since she was reported missing, and despite finding people who have seen Oceana in that time, have not physically seen her to date. Police say they are concerned about Oceana’s well-being and are worried  the longer her whereabouts remain unknown, the more at risk she is for harm. Anyone with information is urged to contact their local police service immediately.

If you have information about this or any other crime, please contact the Battlefords Detachment of the RCMP at 306-446-1720 or call Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), through Sask Tel at *8477, or submit a tip online at www.saskcrimestoppers.com.
