24-year-old arrested for breaking into business

More than 30 calls for service/occurrences were responded to by North Battleford RCMP between 6 a.m. Tuesday, June 17 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, June 18.

More than 30 calls for service/occurrences were responded to by North Battleford RCMP between 6 a.m. Tuesday, June 17 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, June 18.

Among those were two false/nuisance 911 calls, one false alarm, one assistance to social services, four traffic complaints and one municipal bylaw complaint.

Tuesday

6:36 a.m. - Man called through 911 to let police know he didn't assault his wife.

7:11 a.m. - Complaint of harassing calls and text messages. Investigation ongoing.

10:27 a.m. - Complaint of unlocked vehicle gone through on Maher Drive, nothing taken.

11:52 a.m. - Civil complaint regarding purse not returned from ex's residence. Purse returned by police.

12:12 p.m. - Complaint of a break and enter overnight in the 800 block of 108th Street. Residence entered and TV stolen. Investigation ongoing.

12:36 p.m. - Call of a domestic assault in the 1400 block of 100th Street. A 39-year-old man was arrested and later released with charges pending.

2:11 p.m. - Complaint of a domestic assault in the 1900 block of 97th Street from the previous night. An 18-year-old man was arrested and later released with charges pending.

2:54 p.m. - Complaint of stolen cell phone. Possibly civil in nature, investigation ongoing.

3:49 p.m. - Report of a hit and run in a parking lot on Railway Avenue. Investigation ongoing.

4:28 p.m. - Report of a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of 101st Street and 12th Avenue. One person taken to hospital with minor injuries. One driver charged under the Traffic Safety Act.

8:15 p.m. - Report of stolen bank card after it was left in ATM on 101st Street.

8:21 p.m. - Report of stolen cell phone from the 600 block of 109th Street. Investigation ongoing.

9:31 p.m. - Report of intoxicated people fighting in the 1500 block of 104th Street. A 15-year-old male was arrested and is facing charges of breaching conditions and resisting arrest.

11:07 p.m. - Alarm at a business in the 3000 block of 99th Street. Members attended and located a man on scene who had broken into the business. A 24-year-old man was arrested and charges are pending.

11:45 p.m. - A 47-year-old man and a 16-year-old woman were found to be breaching court ordered conditions in the 1600 block of 99th Street. Charges pending.
