4 of 5 men facing 100 weapons-related charges granted bail

PRINCE ALBERT – Four of the five men facing 100 weapons-related charges have been released on bail.

John Kargbo and Malual Manjloak Yel-Malual were granted bail Friday, and Yeina Koladina and Lenny Wuttunee were released March 14 and 15, respectively. Koran Terrell Sokwaypnace hasn’t been granted bail and has a show cause hearing scheduled on March 30 in Prince Albert Provincial Court.

Prince Albert Police say they were called to the 500 block of 8 Street East for a report of a suspicious vehicle at approximately 11:15 p.m. on March 9. When they arrived they located five men inside the vehicle, along with weapons. All five were taken into custody.

Sokwaypnace was additionally charged with obstruction, possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order, and breach of release orders. 

The charges against the accused haven’t been proven in court.

Kargbo appears next on May 5, Yel-Malual on May 4, and Koladino and Wuttunee appear again on March 28.
