Another major event has fallen as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. What was to be the 15th Annual Northern Lights Bluegrass and Old Tyme Music Camp and Festival 2020, scheduled for this August at Ness Creek, will be pushed back to next summer.

On Oct. 18, 2019, Battlefords RCMP responded to a call of an injured male in a residence on the 100 block of 26th Street West in Battleford. Officers arrived to locate an adult male with serious injuries.
