Between Feb. 4 and Apr. 26, 2020, Saskatchewan RCMP received multiple reports of break-and-enters, thefts and property-related offences across central Saskatchewan.

On April 29, two people were charged in separate incidents near the community of Deschambault Lake under the Saskatchewan Alcohol and Gaming Regulation Act for Bootlegging.

HUMBOLDT — Two adults from Saskatoon have been charged in connection with a string of break and enters across central Saskatchewan, including the Humboldt area. The break-and-enters and thefts took place between Feb. 4 and April 26.

As of May 4, Saskatchewan has 34 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the provincial total to 467.

NIPAWIN — A local MP is concerned new government programs created to address COVID-19 aren’t getting proper oversight, especially when it comes to the Prairies’ interests.

The case against a Prince Albert man charged with killing his parents and son, and attempted murder of his daughter, continues to be adjourned. Nathaniel Kenneth Carrier, 28, was scheduled to appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court May 1 via CCTV.

The first day for Re-Open Saskatchewan begins today, May 4, with certain services and recreational facilities allowed to be open, as a gradual relaxation of the restrictions imposed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
