Wednesday marked the second night of budget deliberations in North Battleford, and so far there have been no changes to the administration proposal to increase property taxes and utilities by two per cent each.

NIPAWIN — Nipawin is using their part of the HumboldtStrong Community Foundation donation to put into the reserves for both a heliport pad and their next fire rescue truck.

As of Dec. 12, $60,085 has been raised through a Facebook online auction group by the generous donations from the community and beyond.

A little baby female moose was found abandoned just outside of Lampman about a year and a half ago. Thanks to dedicated volunteers, she received a second chance and not that long ago was happily released back to the wildlife.

TISDALE — The Invest Tisdale Board has hired Greg McShannock to be the director of economic development for the Town of Tisdale and RM of Tisdale. McShannock has been in the Tisdale community since the 1980s.
