The City of North Battleford marked the completion of another stage of downtown revitalization Thursday morning with a ribbon-cutting ceremony that reopened the 1100 block of 100th Street Fridayis morning at 8 a.m.

HUMBOLDT — The City of Humboldt said a city employee has died in a construction work incident in the southwest area of Humboldt. The incident occurred at 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 18.

HUMBOLDT — City planners are looking for public input to design a new park development on Humboldt’s north end.

MELFORT — Melfort Fire and Rescue responded to a two vehicle collision approximately five miles north of Melfort on Highway 6. The collision occurred on Sept. 17, with the department responding at 3:33 p.m.

The Estevan RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing person. On Sept. 10, the RCMP received a report of a missing 48-year-old man, Darcy Vatamaniuck, from Bienfait. Family members last spoke with him over the phone Aug. 22.

MUENSTER — A blue Giant ATX3 XL bicycle was stolen from the bike rack at Muenster School and police are asking for the public’s help to find the culprits. The bike was stolen at approximately 2 a.m. on the morning of Sept. 12.

UPDATE: The City of North Battleford has scheduled a ribbon cutting to re-open the 1100 block of 100th Street for 8 a.m. Thursday morning. BACKGROUND: Barring any last minute hiccups, 100th Street will be open to drivers this Thursday.
