Saskatchewan RCMP is on the lookout for the seventh person charged in connection to the killing of Tiki Brook-Lyn Laverdiere.

NIPAWIN — A $300 million six year project to extend the life of the EB Campbell hydroelectric station started this week. The six generator units in the dam were commissioned in 1963 and 1964 and were designed for a lifespan of 50 years.

EAST CENTRAL — Harvest operations have already begun in some parts of the province, according to Saskatchewan Agriculture’s weekly crop report. The report covered July 30 to Aug. 5.

TISDALE — The Tisdale RCMP stopped a household break-in in action. On Aug. 4, the detachment received a call about a possible break-and-enter at a Tisdale residence. The household residents weren’t home at the time of call.

It was a brief court appearance Thursday morning for one of the individuals charged with the first-degree murder of Mark Douglas Jonson from July 3. David Keller has been remanded to his next appearance August 22 at 11 a.m. by closed circuit TV.

The sixth person to be charged in connection with the Tiki Laverdiere murder case made her first appearance in North Battleford provincial court Thursday morning.
