A rural house and outbuildings were destroyed by fire in the Chitek Lake area Friday. Spiritwood RCMP say an investigation is underway and arson has not been ruled out.

Prairie North Health Region has reported two instances of losses of public money, both involving criminal activity the health region fell victim to in the past months.

UPDATE: A 24-yea- old woman arrested Saturday in connection with the incident below has since been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in North Battleford Provincial Court at 2 p.m. on June 27 on a charge of assault.
