A stabbing victim was treated at Battlefords Union Hospital early Thursday, Oct. 22, according to Battlefords RCMP The police responded at approximately 4:20 a.m. to report of a man suffering from stab wounds.

Two dead in chopper crash
Two men are dead after a helicopter crashed on an island in the North Saskatchewan River north of Paynton Thursday, Oct. 22. RCMP say the crash was reported at around 2 p.m. Dead are the 55-year-old pilot from Campbell River, B.C.
