A year ago, a Serbian couple who emigrated to Canada for the sake of their children found themselves with no choice but to leave one of their two sons behind. Now they are appealing to the public for a sponsor to help them reunite.

A 27-year-old woman from Sturgeon Lake First Nation was struck by an unknown light-coloured vehicle June 19 at about 10:30 p.m. She was walking on Sturgeon Lake Road when she was hit. The vehicle sustained damage to the driver's side.
