Battlefords Rural RCMP have laid several charges after locating multiple stolen vehicles in an area about 30 kilometres south of the Battlefords.

Laptop computers stolen in break and enter at NBCHS

Eight-year-old in serious condition following collision

An eight-year-old boy has been injured after being hit by a car in a school zone. North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services say the collision happened around 3:30 p.m. at 1241 - 105th St., near Notre Dame School.

BTEC art show and sale this Friday

The Battlefords Trade Education Centre is holding an art sale this Friday from 2 to 7 p.m as part of its fundraising efforts for a new facility. The art sale features paintings made by BTEC members over the last few months, both abstract and realist.

Building permits values cool off in October

After months of torrid activity in North Battleford, building permit values took a steep dive in October. A total of 15 building permits were issued for $255,750, compared to 13 for $3,188,500 issued for the same month a year earlier.
