NIPAWIN — The Town of Nipawin has issued a temporary water restriction and is advising town residents to restrict water usage as much as possible.

The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency is still working to contain a number of fires in the northern portion of the province, as dry conditions and storms continue to create concerns for fire crews.

As Saskatchewan faces a double whammy of hot temperatures and wildfire smoke, the Saskatchewan Health Authority is asking citizens to take precautions.
