MELFORT — A life-saving helicopter has been named after a Melfort community figure in honour of his efforts to support the Shock Trauma Air Rescue Service (STARS).

On June 27, 2021, just before 11 p.m., North Battleford RCMP received a complaint of a robbery on Douglas Avenue. Initial investigation has determined that three females and one male were inside of a vehicle.
