Alcohol a factor in woman stabbing man

At approximately 9:12 p.m Wednesday, RCMP were called to a report of a fight at a residence on 103rd St. in North Battleford. On arrival there were five people located in the residence.

At approximately 9:12 p.m Wednesday, RCMP were called to a report of a fight at a residence on 103rd St. in North Battleford. On arrival there were five people located in the residence. 
A 28-year-old male resident of the house was located lying on the floor with a stab wound to his leg. Investigation revealed that a 43-year-female resident of the house had stabbed the male.
The male was taken to hospital by EMS with non life threatening injuries.
The 43-year-old female resident was arrested and investigation is still underway. 
Alcohol was a contributing factor.
