Armed robber demands cash

Assailants, one wielding a knife, made off with a small amount of cash in an armed robbery in North Battleford Sept. 7. Police say the incident happened at about 9:15 p.m. behind a business on the 1700 block of 100th Street.

Assailants, one wielding a knife, made off with a small amount of cash in an armed robbery in North Battleford Sept. 7.

Police say the incident happened at about 9:15 p.m. behind a business on the 1700 block of 100th Street.

According to Battlefords Municipal RCMP, a GMC truck driven by a non-white woman pulled up to the victims.Two or three non-white men exited the vehicle and approached the victims.

One of the assailants had a knife and demanded money. The man with the knife is described as being in his early20s, approximately 5'11", wearing a white t-shirt.

No one was injured and the investigation is continuing.
