Battlefords RCMP are seeking a suspect in an armed robbery which took place on Thompson Cres. in North Battleford on Wednesday morning.
According to police, their investigation revealed a male suspect entered a business on Thompson Cres. armed with what is suspected to be bear spray. The suspect then used the spray on an employee, and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise.
RCMP were called to the scene at 9:38 a.m., however, the suspect was gone on arrival. The employee was treated on the scene by local EMS.
Police describe the suspect as in his 20’s, 5’ 8” to 5’ 10” in height, a mustache, thin build, wearing a burgundy jacket with a hood and jeans.
