Armed robbery photos released

On Aug. 24, shortly before 8 p.m., Battlefords RCMP responded to a complaint of an armed robbery at a local business in North Battleford. Two suspects entered the business and made a small purchase.

On Aug. 24, shortly before 8 p.m., Battlefords RCMP responded to a complaint of an armed robbery at a local business in North Battleford.

Two suspects entered the business and made a small purchase. While the cash register was open, one of the suspects pulled out what appeared to be a handgun and pointed it at the cashier prior to fleeing. No injuries were sustained.

Suspect 1 is described as a slender First Nations male with black shaggy collar length hair, approximately 5'7" in height and wearing a dark coloured hoodie. 

Suspect 2 is described as a slender First Nations male with short black hair, approximately 5'9" in height and wearing a white t-shirt with black stripes on the arms and black lettering and a number on the back, possibly being a sports jersey.

The matter is still under investigation. The Battlefords RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the two suspects.
